We wanted to try this place then Covid happened and we just stayed home. Luckily they survived and offer delicious meat. The owner came to check on us wanting to make sure we were satisfied. Food was quick and cooked as we wanted it! Have visited more since and always excellent!
The parking is great plenty of spaces and easy to access the place is small and very quaint I enjoy eating here the food is very delicious and service is great food is hot fresh and always taste good
We really enjoy the food and service here. It's pretty hot inside temperature wise in the summer so if you can grab an outside table it's a little better. The employees are really putting up with a lot inside the restaurant with the heat yet they are really nice and take the service to the next level. Note: The bathrooms are around the corner from the store front and you will need a key code from a server. Seating outside has umbrellas for shade and oftentimes there is a nice breeze which is pretty dang amazing. This location is in the middle of everything. You can grab lunch, go see a movie adjust a few doors down and after the movie there is an awesome ice cream shop in the same area. Our table had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, Good Ole Burger, the Hombre and The Great Patty Melt. Most of us opted for the sweet potato fries for a little extra spend. It was all perfect! Pricing is great for the amount of the food and the perfection of the presentations. In my pics the Hombre burger is cut in half by me to show the perfectly prepared patty. Give this a shot, you will not be disappointed!
Fantastic burger place with vegetarian/vegan options, and non-burger selections too! I ordered the Hawaiian burger and the combo of grass-fed patty, grilled pineapple, teriyaki sauce and the regular toppings - it hit the spot after a day at the beach. Staff was friendly and service was quick! Def recommend!
I loved that the Bacon Onion Jam Smash burger is still offered! So delicious. I was worried that it would go away but saw the poster that they still offer it. During our visit today my husband had their limited time offer of the buffalo chicken sandwich for $7.99 with a canned soda. He said the burger was good. All of the workers are very attentive and helpful as always. Today they were playing 80s songs which made the ambiance more fun while we were eating.
Hidden gym for sure. Prob the best Mac and cheese I have had from a restaurant like this. Friendly staff, food came out hot and fast. Burgers were cooked to perfection, not dry or over cooked. We went on a Friday night and there was a live band playing outside, super fun. Coconut shrimp , bourbon burger , New Orleans burger were all great! I will for sure come here again
Easily became my favorite burger spot in SD. Got the Garlic fries with the Bacon Onion Jam with the Pineapple Cider. The flavors were great. The patty was cooked right- juicy and flavorful. The bacon, onion, cheese and brioche bun complement perfectly. The wasabi mayo served with the garlic fries is delicious (but not spicy). The owner has been there every time I've been and he shows his customers a gentle hospitality that's refreshing. You can tell he enjoys giving people good food. It's a place I like to go on my own to enjoy a tasty burger in a quietish setting.
Surprisingly good Mac n' cheese! They actually make a bechamel which is impressive. If they just cooked the noodles a little less, it would probably be the best Mac n' cheese I've had from a restaurant! We also had wings and chili cheese fries. No burger this time around as we had burgers at home recently. The chili could use more seasoning but they definitely load up the fries. We got the sour cream on the side. I appreciated the pickled jalapeños a lot. Buffalo wings were pretty standard but they did give a decent amount of carrots and celery sticks!
I was looking for a burger joint for my son and I to have dinner. I didn't want to spend a fortune. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but a 1/3 pound burger can now be in the range of $20 and your lucky if it comes with fries. Well, that is not the case here. For around $12-$14 you can get a 1/3 pound burger and fries. I'm appreciate that it's Butcher N Cheese is still making a week-day night out dinner still affordable. When we arrived we were greeted within a few seconds and asked if we were dining in or take out, we said dining in and we were given a table. My son ordered the Good Ol' Burger, with just meat and cheese. I ordered the the Roadhouse. Both burgers came out within about 10 minutes. The patty itself was a good size, flavorful and juicy. My son ate almost all of his meal. The egg on my burger was a little under cooked, but honestly, I prefer that than a over easy that is over cooked where the whites are crunchy. It was a good messy burger. I'm a big eater and I could not finish my fries and had a few bites of burger left. Overall it was a good burger and I'd definitely eat here again. The service was great. No complaints here.
